Yes, I believe

My favorite merge of religion and music (and possibly my favorite live band), The Legendary Shack Shakers are playing the Tractor tonight. Preceding the show is J.D. Wilkes new film 7 Signs.
I have no idea what it's about, but I have a strong hunch there will be snakes in this film. Somehow, there will be snakes... and Duane Denison.

the green mile

Susan Berg is the new boss. Death Row, aka "the mighty, mighty D-R", aka 'Tha Row', has been sold, yes, "the whole f**kin sh*t" for $24 million.
Damn Suge... didn't Hammer warn you?

This can happen to you too.

Mr. Love and Justice

Tonight is the Billy Bragg show at the Moore.
Billy, if you're reading this, please stop using Ticket Bastard to vend your tickets.
And now, off to rehearsals with Season Of Nightmares....

Return to Chop Suey

The calender at what used to be my favorite venue in Capital Hill has been pretty weak lately.
When this happens, it puts me in danger of missing out on band's like Firewater.
I really should be seeing more bands that get profesional flamenco dancers to join them on stage.

one in, one out

Dear Seattle,
I'm beginning to become suspicious that you no longer enjoy fun.
I'm going to go try and enjoy Tokyo Police Club and Smoosh.
Don't bring me down.
